WhatsApp Messenger is one of the most popular cross-platform messengers today, available on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Symbian and even the old Java phones. WhatsApp was originally founded by Brian Action and Jan Koum in the year 2009. What is interesting to note is the fact that both of them were once Yahoo! employees.  There are tons of ways to change the system font styles in your phone. But what about the WhatsApp message fonts? What I mean is that your receiver will see the same font style as you've used on your message. And today, on Geeks Ninja, I'm going to show you a simple way to use Courier font style in your WhatsApp messages (works on status message too).

Steps to change the font style to Courier:

Step 1. Copy and paste these three symbols to your message typing area: ```

Step 2. Write your message.

Step 3. Again paste those symbols at the end of your message, so that it looks something like:

```This is a test message```
Step 4. Now you can send your message and get your friends excited! See the last message of the WhatsApp screenshot in the picture below: that's how it looks!
